Vacationing on Kauai
Dolphins Racing: As we traveled up the Na Pali Coast of Kauai on a catamaran, a group of dolphins decided to race our boat. This pair caught my lens.
Shadows Along the Na Pali Coast, Kauai: Taking a catamaran up the coast meant leaving fairly early in the morning. The sunrise on the other side of the island cast some interesting shadows off the coast line.
Relaxing Poolside: The pool at the Hyatt Regency Kauai is great. This was the view from one of our favorite perches.
Snorkel Site on Kauai: This beach on the northern part of the island featured some good snorkeling. You may be able to discern some rain in the picture. This made for a special experience as both the rain and the ocean were bathtub temperature.
Tropical Flower: On the grounds of the Hyatt Regency Kauai there are numerous indigenous plants. This bloom was one of the more colorful.
Vacationing near the Rocky Mountains
Rocky Mountain Panorama: This national park is one of those places where it’s very hard to capture the vastness of the place in a photograph. This panorama is actually several pictures stitched together using software.
View Outside Family Reunion Lodge: We had quite the view from outside the lodge where we stayed during one of our family reunions. Talk about “Big Skies”!

Miscellaneous pictures
Dawn on Lake Shasta: Lake Shasta is a great spot in California to go houseboating. My brother and I got the roof, which afforded us excellent star gazing at night and great wake-up views like this one.
Golden Gate Bridge & City by the Bay: My Dad and I like to take an occasional excursion to catch salmon, and these photos were taken en route to the fish.
