Google Blog Search

September 14th, 2005 · 1 Comment · Technology

While I was sleeping the blogosphere picked up yet another new application from Google (and another in beta): Google Blog Search. With no action on my part, it looks like I’m indexed. Cool!

Anil Dash has a nice write-up of the launch (via John Battelle). Search Engine Watch also reports the launch. Robert Scoble give the new offering a spin (ref. [1], [2] and [3]).

    OK Craig,

Why did I pick today to take a peek at your blog?
Today I visited a bookmark of a blog I created in May, but never started. I was surprised it still existed, but it prompted me to search for someone who always mentions visiting their blog (smile). I performed a search on the blogger site for you to see if I got a hit-and yes, you are indexed – very well I may add.

I’m one who usually avoids things, such as television, in fear of spending too much time there or getting hooked :) I just looked up and realized that my ‘stop’ by your blog took an hour. Wasn’t time totally wasted, read some interesting stuff. I have been so scattered around your site, I had to decide a place to post :)

    Thanks for the experience.

I’ll try to limit you to nights and weekends ;0)
