The flu seems to be leaving the Randall household finally. And good riddance! In a way, it’s like the New Year starts today for us. The sky is blue after a fair bit of rain, wind and gray, and the temperature seems a bit fairer too, after the cold. I can tell that it will be hard to show restraint in the return to normalcy. The eyes of my mind and my body can see clearly now that the fog has lifted, and getting back into life will be most welcome indeed. It’s funny how an otherwise plain, uninteresting view can be so invigorating after a week of being stuck indoors with the flu.
